At CDNUG, we value your privacy. With certain exceptions, you can use
our web site without giving us any information about yourself. But
sometimes we do need information to provide some of our services, and this
privacy policy explains how we collect and use data. Please read the

We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you
(personal information) or allows us to contact you or your user group.
Generally, this information is requested when you are asked to register
your user group.
Personal information collected by CDNUG is generally limited to first
and last name, e-mail address, address (if the same as your user group)
and country or location, but may include other information volunteered by
you for public display on the site in connection with your user group.
Through the routine functioning of our site, we can collect certain
technical information, such as IP addresses and browser usage, but we do
not associate this information with your personal information. We do not
use cookies on our site.
Use of your Personal Information
We use your personal information for several primary purposes:
- To present contact information your our visitors who
may be interested in your user group.
- To help us create and deliver content most relevant
to you.
- To alert you to special offers, events, updated
information and other new services for user groups and members of CDNUG.
To the extent that you voluntarily supply your personal information in
connection with registering your user group, that information will be
published on our site in a directory and freely available to visitors to
our site.
Information collected on CDNUG may also be shared with third parties,
including our sponsors, subject to confidentiality obligations.
Additionally, we may hire other companies to provide limited services on
our behalf, such as processing event registration. We will only provide
those companies the information they need to deliver the service, and they
will be prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
Except as provided above, CDNUG will disclose your personal

this information at any time when you log in to our site with your user

or web beacons (also known as clear gif technology, pixel tracking, web
bugs, or action tags). We do not allow other companies to place web
beacons on our site.

CDNUG will occasionally update this privacy policy. When we do, we will
also revise the "last updated" date at the top of the privacy policy. For
material changes to this privacy, CDNUG will notify you by placing
prominent notice on our site.
