Ioannis Stavrinides presented "Windows 7 Development Using Managed Code" and Artemakis Artemiou presented "SQL Server 2008 R2: Features for Developers and IT Pros". This was our last offline event before summer holidays and it was quite celebratory!

Panagiotis Charalambous presented "ASP .NET 4.0" by talkaing about its new features. He also explained how Web developers can take advantage of these features and build scalable and flexible Web applications.
Microsoft DevDays 2010 Date: 15/04/2010, This is a review of Microsoft DevDays 2010; the official event for developers that took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on April 15, 2010 and where CDNUG participated with two of its members as speakers.
Microsoft Momentum 2009 Date: 26/11/2009, This is a review of Microsoft Momentum 2009; the New Efficiency Community Launch which took place in Nicosia, Cyprus on November 26, 2009 and where CDNUG participated with three of its members as speakers on the Developers track.

Karl Davies-Barrett introduced to us Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 and demonstrated many of its new, great features! Also, Luka Debeljak introduced to us the Microsoft Windows Azure Platform from a developer's perspective. He also demonstrated many of the capabilities offered by this new platform.

Also, Karl Davies-Barrett discussed with us Visual Studio 2010, the upcoming new Visual Studio release that will enhance the developer to do more with less!

Artemakis Artemiou presented "The ADO .NET Entity Framework and LINQ to Entities", a level 200 session on the conceptual object model that Entity Framework introduces and ways of issuing data queries against it.

Panagiotis presented "ClickOnce", a new application deployment technology, that is introduced with Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0.

Fifth event marked new era for CDNUG future by having largest number of present members on a single event. Subject of the session was Windows Workflow Foundation, presented by the group president Mr. Evangelos Hadjichristodoulou, who gave extensive introductory details about early technology that is expected to be released sometime next year.

The event started with some important announcements. Our President Chad Hower was recently employed by Microsoft MEA which makes it impossible for him to carry on in the group. The group thanked Chad for his tremendous support and wished him good luck in his new position. Chad promised that he will help the group and other regional groups through his new position. Chad proposed Evangelos Hadjichristodoulou as the new president and Bojan Mijuskovic as the vice president of the group. Cosmin Onea has voluntarily received the position of secretary.
