Third Event

Special thanks for the hospitality of InfoScreen who allowed us to host the Third Event of CDNUG in their offices.
Two excellent sessions presented by Chad Z. Hower received more than expected feedback from the rest of the (mostly) members’ audience.

In the first half of the first session, Chad Z. Hower explained some of the common scenarios of using datasets (including web services). He talked a bit about Databinding and common pitfalls.

The second session was sponsored by Atozed. The product is called "IntraWeb" and as Chad explained is about creating web applications not web pages. During the session Chad demonstrated some of the features of the product and what sets it appart from the everyday web development environment. During the session some of the members requested to test drive the product in order to see for themselves whether the product was as easy to use as Chad mentioned. The results were promising!

After the sessions, a short organisational meeting took place at Loxandras Kebab house were we watched Anorthosis go through the qualifying round. By the way one of the members was so consumed with the match and food that he did not even react to the J... word :).
