o Possible location is conference room of Microsoft in Nicosia.

  4. Evangelos has to confirm with Microsoft or CYTA about the meeting location / space, before Thursday.

  6. Speaker on the next event will be Chad with the following subject: Why .NET?. Additionally Chad will deliver a more advanced session on ADO.NET where extensive experience with the .NET framework and ADO.NET will be required.
  7. We estimate that the first session should not exceed 1 hour whereas the second session will be more than 1.5 hours.
Below is the Analytical Schedule for the following event.
    Seminar Name Time Level Presenter
Why .NET 60 minutes 100 – beginners Chad Z. Hower
    Advanced ADO.NET 90 minutes 300 – Advanced Chad Z. Hower

  8. Event should attract .NET beginners and other developers who are considering .NET as an alternative but additionally we need to attract VB developers.
  9. For an event to be successful, at least 15~20 members should be present.
  10. Present members on meeting have been encouraged to attract at least one (or two) new persons / members for the next meeting / event.
  11. Eventually we should join INETA.
  12. Funding was brought up again as a subject and it was firmly established that in order not to push prospective members away we need to initially operate for free by heavily relying on sponsors. In the future we might issue subscription fee policies such as:
    1. One year subscription for all events (attractive for companies)
    2. Subscription of specific events (attractive for individuals).
    3. First event free then join (to lure in new members).
