Microsoft DevDays 2010!
Date: 15/04/2010, Nicosia Attendees: 100 Track: Developers Host: Microsoft Malta and Cyprus
On
April 15, 2010 Microsoft launched DevDays 2010 in Cyprus, an event exclusively for developers.
The
event took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, Europe, and had at around 100 attendees.
Cyprus
.NET User Group (CDNUG), actively participated to the event with two of its
speakers delivering some really interesting sessions.
The two CDNUG members were Artemakis Artemiou (CDNUG Lead, SQL Server MVP, INETA Country Leader for Cyprus, MCP, MCTS, MCITP) - (Blog, Twitter) and Phanis Parpas (MCP, MCTS).
Artemakis introduced the ADO.NET Entity Framework and Data Services and showed with live demos how can developers expose data to the Web by using the ADO.NET Entity Framework and WCF Data Services:

Phanis talked about Silverlight 3 and more specifically about what's in for developers:
The other two speakers were Karl
Davies-Barrett (Blog, Twitter), Developer Platform Evangelist for Microsoft
Cyprus and Malta, great friend of CDNUG and organizer of this successful event, and Jonathan Cassar from Malta, who is the president and founding member of Tech-Spark Microsoft User Group.
The
event was a huge success! We all enjoyed it as it featured a rich variety of
interesting sessions! Here's a photo of all the speakers:
